What is a Sensory Room?

This specially designed quiet and calming room is best defined as a designated safe space that is specifically designed to help those kids who may have physical or intellectual sensory challenges.

For many children, bright lights, loud noise, or even unfamiliar textures can create a negative reaction. Because of this, they often have difficulty coping with the environment around them.

At Springville Pediatrics, our staff is Sensory Inclusive trained and we want to do everything we can to accommodate your child. Our quiet and nurturing room is stress-free and provides a wide variety of sights and sounds that encourage interactivity and engagement.
